Realtime model @ 6942 tri with 2k color, normal, specular and glow maps.
My intention here was to create my own interpretation of Hellboy and push the proportions/stylization while keeping the skin and anatomy realistic. i also decided to make him a little older/overweight since he hasn't been working out for a while. over all i tried to pay more attention to the aesthetics and art direction more than the technical details. start to finish this took me around 3 weeks. high poly was sculpted in mudbox, low poly created in topogun and maya, normal map and AO baking was partly done in xNormal and Maya and texturing was done in photoshop.
